Destiny is already written
Some one asked Hazrat Ali (R.A) ,
“What is the purpose of making dua (prayer) if our destiny is already written?
He replied, “May be it was written (i.e. decreed) in your destiny that you would only be granted upon asking for it(in prayer).”
